Feeling relatively okay today!
Had an awesome day yesterday, washed my boy Cooper, had a friend come up to help me and meet the two ponies. Did some fun bareback riding on him too!
Picked up a new saddle for Belle on Monday, for jumping. Really excited about it, and really keen to get into some jumping! Made some cross country jumps in the paddock today, just small ones out of dead trees and what not.
Sent off my entries for a dressage day on the 10th April... Eeep! Gotta practice now! Using my Auntie's arena tomorrow and Friday.
Got a bit of work on next week with Dad so hopefully I find the time to ride as well.
Am talking to another guy from the dating site, no real sparks as yet but he is intelligent and good fun to chat to, so will see where it leads!

Lazy Sunday...
Farrier came out this morning to replace Belle's lost shoe- did it free of charge too, seeing as the cow really shoudn't have been able to rip it off! Bless him.
iPhone ended for $413.99, but they apparently need a few days to pay... Grr. Don't like being stuffed around!
I've also listed a couple of sets of dressage markers on eBay now, used to make them a couple of years ago, but figure I may as well get back into it.
My eBay Stuff For Sale
Back seems to be better, but I still need to be careful because it won't take much to put it out completely. Still using hot packs, laying in bed and taking Valium!
Have been amusing myself by buying heaps of cheap DVDs on eBay... Whoops haha.
Dirril acted this morning like I never had the shits with him... And I find it so hard to stay angry at people even though he bloody deserves it! He bloody well gives me whiplash, one minute he's all nice and caring, next he's a jerk. UGH. Men!

Stupid back.
My back has gone out on me again- the muscles are all tight and spasmy, and I'm getting sciatic pains. Completely joyous. I think I got in early enough to stop it being a 6 week problem this time though... Valium, heat pack and Panadeine Forte plus many hours in bed. Hurrah! Not happy Jan.
Dad has given me a loan to get a saddle off eBay... Except I've already been outbid! So not sure what to do now. Keep checking eBay, or just go get the brand new one on layby. Will see.
My iPhone on eBay is up to $305 with a couple of hours to go. I also listed my guinea pig hutch, which is at $96, and my float roof but no bids on that yet.
Might go through all my horse gear again and list some of that too perhaps, although I don't really have much spare.

It's Thursday!
How bout that.
Wired up some lightboxes for Dad today, and got another four to do tomorrow. Yay cash!
Went to go ride Belle this afternoon, but she's pulled yet ANOTHER bloody shoe off. Cow. I did ride her but not for very long... She's sensitive without shoes (bloody princess) so couldn't work properly anyway. What a shitfest!
Turns out we installed the trans cooler in my car just a tad too late... The trans is dying :( I've got no choice but to just keep running it til it dies completely, then look at replacing the car, or finding a decent secondhand/recon trans to put in the car... Really depends on cost. My poor baby isn't worth spending that much on! But will look at it when it comes to it anyway. Nothing I can do now.
Tailgate strut broke yesterday too... Doh! Currently using an axe handle as a boot-stick!
Going to a friend's place for pizza and movies tomorrow night, hopefully. You know, if I don't have a panic attack in the meantime and decide I can't make it, etc.

*Bangs Head Against Wall*
Well, the show on Sunday went spectacularly. I came home with two firsts, a reserve champion, a third and two fourths. Belle was an angel all day, and I was super proud of her. She got yesterday off, and just a nice short trail ride today to stretch out. Back into it within the next few days, as we have a dressage test coming up on the 10th April.
In other news... I'm completely fucking pissed off with my body.
I had surgery last year for endometriosis, they inserted a Mirena IUD which is supposed to last 5 years. After a couple of weeks of 'spotting' I was period free... Until now. Thing is this has happened with all the methods I've used previously- breakthrough bleeding on the pill, the Implanon, Depo Provera.... None of them lasted/worked as long as they were supposed to- the Mirena was basically my last resort.
At the moment the pain is bearable, but something tells me it's only a matter of time... And then what? What other options are there to try? I'm scared I'm going to get told 'have kids now because that uterus is gonna have to come out...'
So, I'm an unhappy little vegemite today.

Not much longer to go...
One mighty unimpressed Belle... HeheTomorrow morning I head off for my first ever hack show! Sure, it's a members only encourage style one... But I'm pretty excited! Rode the mare again this afternoon and everything went well, so pretty keen.
Plaited her mane (badly)... Attempted to plait her tail and gave up! Might try it again tomorrow morning. Plaiting is optional for the show anyway!
Cleaned my saddle and bridle, boots and gaiters... Gave my jacket/jods/shirt a test run- everything still fits thankfully! Even got myself a new pair of gloves for tomorrow. Also put a couple of winter rugs on layby for Belle and Cooper.
Now I'm chilling out in bed, might spend the evening watching a few movies.

So tired...
Had another busy day. Off to bed soon methinks.
Got up and worked for Dad for a couple of hours...
Then up to the horses, rode Belle, then washed her in preparation for Sunday. Headed home, then back up again at 5 for the farrier... Then home around 7. Just been in bed watching Eclipse, but think I might go to sleep soon!
Tomorrow I got to ride again, and plait her up, that should be fun haha.
